Edward and Johanna were married on the most beautiful blue sky Friday in May at Oaks Farm, Surrey. They’re such a fun couple so it was no surprise that their wedding day was marked with lots of giggles and big laughs throughout. When I heard their proposal story it had me giggling imaging the situation – Ed had proposed with a wooden ring which he had carved himself (they’d been renovating their home together), except the ring got stuck and they spent the first hour of being engaged in the kitchen with a small hand saw removing the ring!

It was my first wedding for this season at Oaks Farm and my first opportunity to photograph a wedding in their lovely new ceremony room – I love it! It’s the perfect compliment to their already beautiful venue. Johanna (and Ed) had chosen a hot pink, white and mint green colour scheme with roses and gerberas in her bouquet. Also look out for Johanna’s beautiful Pronovias wedding dress.
