The gorgeous Tomoyo and Neil were married at the London Marriott near Canary Wharf in July. I feel really privileged to have been chosen as their wedding photographer (Tomoyo found me through Yahoo search engine whilst still living in Japan!). It was an amazing day combining their Asian and Japanese heritages to create a very special and unique day.. and there was plenty of emotions too! Their dream team included the talentend Richard from FXFilms (assisted by Mark) and Yuriko from YS-Wedding provided the wedding flowers, cake and Japanese translation for Tomoyo’s mom and brother who had flown in specially for their wedding.
Here’s are a few of our favourites. Please feel free to leave messages or comments.
The Marriott of course had loads of lovely areas to photograph these two looking gorgeous and having fun..
On to the lunch reception in the Marriot’s Curve Restaurant..
The speeches included video montages that told the story of Neil and Tomoyo growing up and how they met when Neil was working in Japan and and all the adventures around the globe they’ve shared together since. It also included, as a suprise, image from a London pre-wedding shoot with them in full wedding attire! (See the blog post about their London pre-wedding shoot here).
Tomoyo did a very heartfelt and moving speech to her dad (in absence), her mom and brother – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
In the evening the fun and games continued next door at 1802
