Kensington and Chelsea Register Office Wedding Photography
Beautiful wedding photography at Kensington and Chelsea Register Office (Chelsea Old Town Hall, Kings Road, London SW3 5EE)
Chelsea Old Town Hall is a beautiful and stylish building located on the Kings Road, Chelsea. It houses five licensed rooms, including the Brydon Room, the Rossetti Room, and the Harrington Room, as well as the Registry Office. Chelsea Old Town Hall has long been famous as a venue for ceremonies whether you wish to have a simple celebration or a large, formal affair with your family and friends.
Marriage Rooms at the Kensington and Chelsea Register Office
There are three different Marriage Rooms at the Kensington and Chelsea Register Office – each is located on the first floor of the Chelsea Old Town Hall.
The Harrington Room accommodates up to 10 people (the couple and up to 8 guests) and ceremonies performed in this room are simple and elegant. Your ceremony will take a maximum of 30 minutes, including your pre-ceremony interview and any photographs you may wish to take. If you choose The Harrington Room as your venue you will be able to enhance your marriage or civil partnership and include one reading and two pieces of music as part of your ceremony.
The Rossetti Room is the most popular room as it is still small enough for intimate weddings (it can accommodate the couple and up to 12 guests). It offers a quiet and relaxed setting for your ceremony. You may include one reading or two pieces of music as part of your wedding ceremony in the Rossetti Room.
The Brydon Room is a beautiful and stylish venue offering a unique setting for your special day. This spacious room is able to seat parties of up to 40 people (the couple and up to 38 guests). The room is decorated with a fresh floral arrangement, however you are welcome to provide a small arrangement of your own for the ceremonial desk. One of the advantages in choosing The Brydon Room as your venue is that you can customize your ceremony with readings and music, ensuring that not only yourselves but your guests can relax and enjoy the experience. A ceremony in the Brydon room enables you and your partner to be interviewed separately by the Registrar (a legal requirement) prior to the ceremony. This means that the first time you see each other will be when you stand side by side to take your vows thus maintaining a special tradition.
Photographs may be taken in the striking entrance hall before exiting by the front door. This is the perfect opportunity for some beautiful formal photographs as well as fun confetti.
