Joe and Nikki got married on a gorgeous autumn day in November last year (apologies, still catching up on my blog!). The autumnal colours were just stunning and we had a brilliant time with these two, who are so cute together.
It was lovely to shoot so near to us – Joe and Nikki were practically our neighbours living only a few blocks away from us and I thoroughly enjoyed working with these two who clearly have such a big impact on our local artists’ community. See, both these two looooove their music! And wow, between them and their friends the entertainment for the evening was just brilliant.
Grove House (within the grounds of Roehampton University) together with it’s sister venue, Parkstead House, are two new wedding venues in South West London and it won’t be long before they will be some of the most popular in the area. The grounds are lovely and there are plenty of photo opportunities, inside and out even in November.. so it’s easy to see why Joe and Nikki choose this as their wedding reception venue. Apart from a couple of formal group photos during the day, the remainder of the photography coverage was photojournalism-styled, including our creative shoot with Joe and Nikki in the grounds of Grove House and we could just really have fun and enjoy all the brilliant expressions that form part of any wedding day.. lots of laughter and happy banter.
(Apologies, lots of wow’s, oe’s and ahh’s in this blog post, but I can’t help it – it’s just been so fab to be a part of their day :-))!

A big thank you to Joe and Nikki for the privilege of being their wedding photographers. Thank you two so much, can’t wait to deliver your finalised gorgeous wedding album and page through it with you again on your 25th wedding anniversary. Wishing you much love and happiness.
To Carla at Grove House a very big thank you too for all her assistance on the day. I can’t wait to photograph at Grove House again in the near future.
And of course a big thank you to the newest member of the HdP Creative Photography team, my husband Mark, who was the second photographer at Joe and Nikki’s day. Watch this one, he’s photography rocks (and I’m not just saying it coz I’m biased!).
